From the Moynihan Lecture 1947 given by Alfred Blalock at the Royal College of Surgeons (Blalock and Bahnson 1948).

Before and after operation. Images used in the report of the first cases at Guy’s, all of these after Blalock had returned to Baltimore (Campbell 1948). King’s College London Archives have provided the picture from Guy’s Hospital Reports.
