Translations

Translations of James Lind Library material into Spanish, Portuguese and French were commissioned and monitored by Luis Gabriel Cuervo and America Valdes at the Pan American Health Organisation, and managed by Betty Galliano and Federico Carroli at Ocean Translations. Sandra Paván y Silvina Cantarella, Luciana Ramos, and Hernán Moreno translated the material into Spanish; Marco Neves, Joana Taborda, Vera Almeida, Rodrigo Gonçalves, and Inês Passos translated the material into Portuguese; and [names will be supplied] translated the material into French.

The editors are very grateful to these many contributors to the James Lind Library.

Note: The James Lind Library was launched in 2003, superseding Controlled Trials from History (1998–2002).
